Anxiety disorder or panic attack? Do you suffer from either of these? They are both the same thing really; it’s just two ways to describe them.
You can suffer the same group of symptoms from either of these conditions. Whether your symptoms are really bad or are a bit on the mild side. You will know about it if you get an attack.
Whether you put yourself in the panic attack or anxiety disorder group doesn’t really matter. It’s important to get control as soon as possible. Something, anything that helps to keep these symptoms under control.
I know how bad these symptoms can get and I know how urgent the need is for some help. Lots of different prescription drugs are available to treat these attacks. It’s vital that you see your doctor soon. There may be another underlying problem that needs identifying.
If you are currently having anxiety or panic attacks. I suggest you try to avoid prescription drugs. I say that for a couple of reasons.
For a kick off you want to swerve any side effects if you can. Any course of medication will (or should) be for a short duration only. I’d say it was a poor doctor who would keep you on medication for the long term.
It’s a certainty that most doctors would have you stop the drugs sooner rather than later. What’s going to happen if/when you stop taking medication? That’s a very good question.
I think you’ll be pleased to know that you don’t need to rely on drugs. There are other methods that will work better. And there are no drugs or medication needed. No drugs or (costly) hypnotherapy sessions.
